Charivari Detroit Electronic Music Festival is an annual summer outdoor event that first and foremost is a celebration of our city and it’s contributions to electronic dance music. Techno is a Detroit creation and Detroit is flush with the pioneers and present day masters of the genre. The festival is known for its diverse lineup of local and international DJs and electronic music producers, as well as its vibrant atmosphere and community spirit. It typically takes place over the second weekend of August and features multiple stages, food trucks, vending, art installations and areas for dancing, relaxation, and socializing.

Charivari Detroit Electronic Music Festival was first held in 2014 at Milliken State Park, and has since grown to become one of the city's most popular music festivals, attracting thousands of visitors from around the world. The festival which is now held at Historic Fort Wayne Detroit aims to showcase Detroit's rich musical heritage, support local artists and performers, and provide a fun and inclusive space for electronic music lovers of all ages and backgrounds.

Charivari Detroit Electronic Music Festival was founded by Steve Dunbar (RIP), Chaunceia Dunbar, Grant Gray, Theresa Hill, Todd Johnson, and Hassan Nurullah and over the years expanded with the addition of Korie Enyard, Todd Inniss, Carmen Johnson and Daniel Pembroke. This year we celebrate our 10th Anniversary and promises to be the best one yet.
