I’m sure you’ve seen hip hop legend Flavor Flav moving around Detroit. In fact, Flav has adopted Detroit as his second home and Detroit loves Flavor Flav.

As he prepares to release new music I got a chance to catch up with him and see what’s next with Flavor Flav.

ME: What’s the name of the new song of yours that’s dropping Jan 10th?
FF: Everywhere Man

ME: Who produced the record?

FF: Sam Hollander

ME: I heard that the song is going to be available in several languages . Can you tell us what’s up with that and why?
FF: Because the reason why it’s in 19 different languages is because nobody is using AI properly and I wanted to be the first to display AI being used the right way.

ME: Tell us a a few of your favorite Detroit artists.
FF: Eminem, Trick Trick, Obie Trice, Royce da 59.


ME: Let us know a couple of your favorite places to eat in the Detroit area.
FF: Pastiao in Royal Oak, Locos in Detroit, Pegasus in Detroit.

ME: What was your first show in Detroit?
FF: Fox Theater 1986 opening up for the Beastie Boys.

ME: You have been to plenty of shows in 2023 , what was your favorite?
FF: Taylor Swift Eras Tour and the New Edition show featuring Teddy Riley.

ME: Does Public Enemy have any plans for 2024?
FF: Me and Chuck D are in talks we will see.

ME: Are you planing on dropping more “Flavor Flav” music in this new year?
FF: Yes I do, I plan on dropping a album.
