Taylor Lang stood out for her distinctive sense of style. Even as a child, she had a knack for fashion that set her apart from her peers. Her creativity was boundless; she would often add her own unique flair to her clothes and footwear, transforming ordinary items into extraordinary pieces. Taylor vividly recalls embellishing the heels of her shoes, a simple act that left people amazed by her ingenuity. For her, this was second nature—a seamless blend of creativity and self-expression.

Taylor's fashion-forward mindset was deeply influenced by her mother, a fashionable and eloquent figure who played a significant role in shaping her character. As a retired principal of Detroit Public Schools, Taylor's mother instilled in her the importance of inner character over outward appearances. "Character is what matters the most," she would often remind Taylor, emphasizing that one's heart should align with the image they present to the world. This principle became a cornerstone of Taylor's life and work.

Her mother's influence extended beyond philosophy to practical skills. She would have Taylor demonstrate essential skills like good posture and confident walking and speaking to the students at her school. Taylor also helped the girls with their attire and age-appropriate makeup, finding immense joy in being a role model. These experiences not only honed her own skills but also deepened her desire to empower others.

After high school, Taylor pursued higher education at the historically black Clark Atlanta University, an experience that further enriched her understanding of culture and community. Her talents did not go unnoticed; she was soon signed as a model. However, her new career did not diminish her passion for working with youth. In fact, it fueled her desire to contribute to their success, providing her with a profound sense of fulfillment.

In 2015, Taylor took a significant step toward her dreams by establishing her own company. She poured her heart and soul into this venture, driven by a vision of empowering and inspiring others through fashion. Her hard work and dedication paid off, and in 2019, she achieved a major milestone—opening her own studio on the East Side of Detroit. This studio was more than just a business; it was a realization of her dreams and a platform to continue her mission of empowering the youth.
