Nancy, a mother of three from Detroit, Michigan, filled her childhood notebooks with fashion designs. After studying in New York, she returned to Detroit before its artistic renaissance. Inspired by the idea that women should feel powerful and capable, she fell in love with neckties after attending meetings as the only woman present. “I started researching and couldn’t find any ties made specifically for women. So, I created a design for pre-knotted ties that can be slipped on easily, like a necklace, made with luxury fabrics.”
