Dear Dr. Sabrina,
I am writing as I really do not know how to handle my dilemma. I am a small business owner with a food truck. Business has been up and down. During the pandemic, I had to shut the truck down and pivot how we worked. I hired a young woman as my assistant and she came up with great ideas and we have increased business.
My assistant recommended we bring on a person to do my graphics professionally. The person she recommended is her best friend, she interviewed and I hired her. She is AWESOME. My business has grown by leaps & bounds. Now, my issue is that the girls were emailing one another, complaining about me. They communicated their frustrations with some assignments and decisions I have made. They also complained about the amount of money they are making based on how much the business has grown.
Now, their work continues to be stellar and they have not been disrespectful at all. They have no idea that I know about their venting. Should I let them know that I know and fire them or keep it to myself?
