Hunter Phelps was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan. She graduated from the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business in May of 2021, where she majored in business administration and minored in entrepreneurship. Hunter loves entrepreneurship and is a serial entrepreneur. In 2018, through her involvement with U of M’s optiMize student incubator program, she became the founder of Terry Lu Naturals, a natural hair and skin care company that creates dual-use products for men and women. Since then, she has worked hard to build up her brand and creates amazing products for her customers.

Hunter is also the founder of Phelps Room Designs, a new and upcoming romantic room decorating service. She uses various items, such as rose petals, balloons, and lighting to create a memorable occasion. Phelps Room Design was founded in February of 2021 after Ms. Phelps, decorated a room for a friend that went viral on Twitter. She soon realized that room designing was a gift of hers that could not only satisfy her creativity, but also make others happy in the process. Since then, she has decorated dozens of rooms and has grown her social media following significantly, as she has over 70,000 followers on Instagram and counting. Phelps Room Designs also posts content on TikTok, Facebook, and Twitter. We are based in Detroit, Michigan, and travel to over 13 cities spanning from the Midwest, East Coast, and Southern regions.

PRD decorates for various occasions including birthdays, anniversaries, just because, and much more. We ask that clients submit an inquiry form online at www.phelpsroomdesigns.com to receive more information regarding pricing and availability. If Phelps Room Designs decides to take on the booking, we then send our client an invoice and contract. Bookings must be made 2-4 weeks in advance depending on the client’s location. As Phelps Room Designs grows, we want to continue romantic room decorating while also stepping foot into event planning for bigger events including weddings, birthday parties, and baby showers.
